Ankur Arora Murder Case Movie Review

Introduction
Ankur arora Murder Case, star casted by Arjun Mathur, Kay Kay Menon, Tisca Chopra, Vishakha Singh, Paoli Dam, Sachin Khurana, Harsh Chhaya and Manish Chaudhary, is a thriller movie on captivating issue of the negligence in the field of medicine. The direction to this film is given by Suhail Tatari and the script is written by Vikram Bhatt. It is a heart-warming story of a mother’s fight to grant justice to her eight year old child who dies due to medical negligence.

Script Analysis
The script for the movie is well researched and well grounded. The idea is thrilling and emotional at the same time. The idea behind making this film is to portray the facts and depict the stances clearly. The real facts have not been tampered in this film but the execution is not that catchy. The blaze of the film is killed by adding too many dialogues.

Star Performances
Tisca Chopra has given a mind blowing performance with the grounded intensity. She clearly brings out the pain of the mother’s heart that is broken on the screen. If you do want to watch this film, she is a real treat. The acting of Kay Kay Menon is also very impressive but he again comes out with the same type of role again and again which makes his performance stale. Arjun Mathur is promising but because of his role, he’s a little backed. Paoli Dam cannot act or emote. She did not do any justice to her strong character.

What’s it about?
The film starts off with Ankur Arora, a young child whose mother Nandita Arora is a single paret. She takes him to the Shekhawat General Hospital when he complains of painful stomach ache. The intern there, Romesh admits him and the case is handed over to Dr. Asthana, the best medical surgeon of the country. He due to his carelessness on the operating table creates complications and Ankur dies.

Asthana tries to cover up his tracks by threatening everyone in the operating room that he will destroy their career. Nandita is heartbroken at the news of the death of his only son and accepts the fact until Romesh, the intern, tells her about actually what has happened. She is a mother with honesty and prepares herself to bring justice to her child. The proceedings of the court were enjoyable and made the second half very interesting. There is a suspense element in the film which eventually falls into usual rut.

Music and Technical aspects
It is quite a melodramatic film and the naive dialogue is like a cheery on the top to destroy the film. The editing could have been neater and the screen play is not so good. Unnecessary love song is also one of the drawbacks.

The Last Word
Ankur Arora Murder Case is gravely disappointing but is not an atrocious film. If the actors like Tisca chopra and Kay Kay Menon are working, it could have been much better. Unsure climax had done irreparable damage to the film. It cannot settle for more than 1.5 stars out of 5. Watching this film is like wasting your time on unnecessary feat.
