Baat Ban Gayi Movie Review


Baat ban gayi is a comedy movie. The direction to this film is given by Shuja Ali. The movie is star casted by Ali Fazal, Amrita Raichand, Gulshan Grover, and Razzak Khan. The movie is produced by Megha Agarwal and Sayed Asif Jah. It is a romantic family comedy. The film is enriched with the classic plot of duals. These duals depict the comedy of confusions when the characters who had played duplicate roles, encounters each other in utterly humorous, unexpected and hilarious situations.

The movie is a full packed comedy. The actors of the movie are not as famous as others but they have worked really hard so as to make the audience burst into laughter.
 

The protagonist of the movie is Kabir who is a novelist. He is deeply in love with a beautiful girl whose name is Rachna. The lead girl, Rachna is brought up by her brother Laxmi Nivas who is married to a girl named Sulochna. Rachna idolize her brother very much and always talks about his greatness and him as a whole. As she shares a very deep bond with her brother, a great part of her life revolves around him. He is a very choosy, possessive and strict professor. 

The girl, Rachna works for a company where she meets Kabir and fell in love with him at the first sight. Same happens with Kabir. They share a relationship but Kabir soon becomes exasperated because Rachna always talk about her brother and mentions him in the middle of their most romantic circumstances.
 

Kabir decides on playing a prank on Laxmi Das and ends up in his house as a research student but he does not have the slightest clue that he has his duplicate in another part of the city. The other guy is a goon and has no similarity to Kabir except the looks. Finally, the real identity of Kabir is disclosed and the brother of Rachna agrees to the relationship of these two love birds and give his consent to their marriage.
 

The story experiences a twist when 'Rasiya Bihari', the look alike of Kabir reaches the bungalow to empty it and everybody mistakes him as Kabir. When Rasiya sees the girl, he gives away his heart to her and decides to stay there as Kabir. He makes a foolproof plan according to which he kidnaps Kabir and locks him up and gets the girl and the bungalow.
 

Rasiya meets Debu Daruwala who is look alike of Laxmi Nivas. He is a gay dance teacher and owns a bungalow which is desired by the underworld. Rasiya threatens him and paces him in the place of Laxmi Nivas so that he can marry Rachna peacefully. The film turns into comedy of doubles when Kabir and Laxmi Nivas escapes from the den and reaches the house. There is a flow of shocks, surprises and stomach aching humorous situations.
 

The music to the movie is given by Harpreet Singh. The singer Javed Ali has also recorded an item song for the movie. This is a Punjabi song with UP-Bihar flavour. The choreography is done by Ranju Verghese and the editing of the film is done by Harsh Sanghvi.
 

It is a light movie if you want to lift your mood and have a good time with your family together.
