Yamla Pagla Deewana 2, directed by Sangeeth Sivan, has a strong Punjabi flavour. Sharib- Toshi has composed the music for this film along with the additional track by Sachin Gupta. Kumaar has penned the lyrics of all the songs for this movie. The soundtrack of this movie is high on Punjabi too.
Rahul Sethi’s rap on the title number ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana’ is good but it could have been better. Singers Sukhwinder Singh, Sanchita Bhattacharya and Shankar Mahadevan have given their best. The composition of this song is average but different. ‘Changli Hai Changli Hai’ by Mika Singh is an attention grabber. In the typical Punjabi song, ‘Suit Tera Laal Rang Da’, Sonu Nigam and Sunidhi Chauhan have spread their magic. Guest composition by Sachin Gupta ‘I will dance like this only’ is a Punjabi pop with entertaining hilarious lyrics, sung by fantastic vocal Diljit Dosanjh.
The flaw with the music album of Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 is that there is an overdose of Punjabi music. But still, it is an ideal music album for those people who like to dance on loud beats.
