The music of “Shootout At Wadala” has hardly anything exciting enough to impress listeners. The movie is set in the ‘80s and is about the first shootout ever to be recorded by the Mumbai Police and the makers of its music have tried to incorporate the retro touch in its soundtrack too but a number of the songs are contemporary which is pardonable considering market requirements.
Here is a list of the movie’s soundtrack:

(Music directors- Anu Malik, Mustafa Zahid, Anand Raj Anand, Meet Bros. Anjjan)

  1. Babli Badmaash Hai - Sunidhi Chauhan
  2. Laila Teri Le Legi - Mika Singh, Anand Raaj Anand
  3. Aala Re Aala - Mika Singh, Sunidhi Chauhan
  4. Yeh Junoon - Mustafa Zahid
  5. Aye Manya - Adnan Sami, Shaan
  6. Goli.. Goli Ki Apni Hai Boli - Meet Bros, Sudesh Bhosle, John, Anil
  7. Babli Badmaash (Remix)-  Sunidhi Chauhan
  8. Aala Re Aala (Remix)-  Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh
  9. Laila (Remix)-  Mika Singh
  10. Yeh Junoon (Remix)-  Mustafa Zahid
  11. Goli (Remix)-  Meet Bros Anjaan
The first song “Babli Badmaash “ has retro feel to it but fails to garner praise due to lack of imagination. “Aala Re Aala” fails to impress because of similar reasons though it may be conceded that it has a catchy refrain. “Ek Din Ke Liye” is a soulful rendition and may find listeners. “Laila” is powerful with Mika doing his usual do. “Yeh Junoon” loses any ground to faulty singing that its being a love song gains. “Aye Manya” is a lot like “Aala Re Aala”. “Goli” tries to be different but falls short of its ambition.

As a final word, “Shootout At Wadala” is an average album.
