Jana Gana Mana
The Indian National anthem Jana Gana Mana is originally composed by Rabindranath Tagore in Bengali. The whole song contains five stanzas. The song was adopted in its Hindi version by the Constituent Assembly as the National Anthem of India on 24 January 1950. At the Calcutta session of the Indian National Congress, the song was first sung on 27 December, An official execution of the national anthem takes fifty two seconds. The lyrics were rendered into English by Rabindranath Tagore himself.

The song is one of the most popular of all Hindi patriotic song; it was created for Indian Army to boost their morale. When the song was sung in front of the Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru it brought tears in to his eyes.
